About Alicia Reid:
Alicia is an Alzheimer’s and dementia educator and a published author on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. She owns Serenity Alzheimer’s and Dementia Training LLC and has been giving care for 16 plus years for Alzheimer’s and dementia. And she’s gained most of her experience from caring for her grandmother, who resided with her family and herself at her home. And once she moved out, Alicia dedicated herself to caring for her grandmother every day until she died. She held her hand when she transitioned to glory. This exposure gave Alicia all the hands-on experience needed. She discovered that she loved working with the elderly and being a caregiver.
She’s created eLearning dementia training preparation courses for the National Alzheimer’s exam. In other digital dementia content, she collaborates with other healthcare professionals helping them to educate families and professional caregivers. She has worked in memory care units and state facilities and started as a personal caregiver, respite caregiver, hospice caregiver, and self-employed caregiver. She has a total of 17 years in the caregiving world. Her mission is to give you peace of mind. And she wants to offer her wisdom and experience to caregivers, families, and other health professionals who need to be certified in Alzheimer’s/dementia. And she wants her students to feel engaged in the line of health care and understand Alzheimer’s and other dementias. And she wants to help her students get ready for the national exam for Alzheimer’s. Lastly, Alicia wants to emphasize with the client-patient, caregivers, and their families.
